Slow Mo

Hey! How is your day going? Are you feeling like you’re moving in slow mo?

Between the arthritis and headaches, life has been a little difficult lately. Things sometimes come to a screeching halt and feel like everything is moving in slow motion. LOL! But those times are always good for us. They remind us that the Lord is in control and not us. They remind us that His grace is sufficient. They remind us that it’s okay if we have to slow down a little so we can regain our strength.

It has been testified somewhere, “What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you care for him? You made him for a little while lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor, putting everything in subjection under his feet.” Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him. But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.

Hebrews 2:6-9

He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.

Isaiah 40:29

I hope and pray that you are found in good health today but whether you are or not, I leave you with a quote to ponder:

I venture to say that the greatest earthly blessing that God can give to any of us is health, with the exception of sickness. Sickness has frequently been of more use to the saints of God than health has.

Charles Spurgeon
