I know this is late coming but it is still Tuesday – LOL! – so here’s Tuesday’s tips that will smell good and save you some cents.

So you finished burning your favorite candle and now have a little left in the bottom. Most people will just throw it away. Don’t – keep it!

Tip #1 – Scrap the remainder of the candle wax out of the jar using a blunt edge of a knife and store it in a ziplock bag. You can peel off the label and put it on the bag to identify which scent it is. I have no idea why I kept the balsam one – really too strong of a scent for me – LOL!

If you have an electric wax melt warmer take the candle scraps and burn them in your warmer (Dollar Tree sells ones that you can heat using a votive candle). This is a great way to use every last bit of your favorite candle (especially if it’s one that has been discontinued).
Tip #2 – After cleaning out your jar, keep the jar and use it for storage. Use a small decor piece or a knob and glue it to the top of the jar with E6000 glue. Now you have a handle for your lid. The one on the left is in my craft room being used to store ink pads. The one on the right I am using in my bathroom for q-tips. I’m sure you are thinking of all the things you could store in these jars, maybe some cotton balls, jewelry, paper clips, maybe even your spare change.
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.
