Happy Easter Ladies!

Happy Easter to all of you beautiful ladies! I hope everyone is enjoying their Easter Sunday.

Today we are going to take a step back in time. For those of you who might never have heard of this it will be a new adventure into the past but for those of you who can remember these stamps it will take you back to your childhood.

I can remember as a child watching my mom collect S & H Green Stamps every time she went to the grocery store. It was a way for the merchant to thank their customers for purchasing in their store. She would put the stamps in books they gave you. Then when she had enough we would go to a special store they had known as the redemption center. Each piece of merchandise in their center had a price and you could redeem your stamps for the price of that item (see $2.00 cash value on book).

If we take all of our stamps (sin) we have collected and go to the redemption center (Jesus), we can turn those stamps in for something much more valuable than the price of merchandise. We can turn in those stamps (sin) for eternal life. Now that’s a great deal! The price of our sin is death and the only way to redeem that in exchange for eternal life can be found in only one redemption center, and that is Jesus Christ. He being holy, pure, and without sin, redeems (a/k/a buys back) our sin with His life, His very blood.

1 Peter 1:18-19 – knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.

No matter what is going on in your life today, please know that eternal life can only be found in Jesus Christ. I pray that you seek Jesus with all of your heart and make Jesus your Lord and Savior. Then you will be able to truly say – My Redeemer Lives!

  1. Amen My Sister, “But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last. And after my body has decayed, yet in my body I will see God! I will see him for myself. Yes, I will see him with my own eyes. I am overwhelmed at the thought!” (Job 19:25-27).
