There’s nothing more frustrating on laundry day than to try and get the dirt and stains out of your children’s (or husband’s) clothes. Makes you wonder if they were rolling around in the dirt before they came in the house. Actually my sons did when they were young. They enjoyed doing snow angels in the clay on the baseball field. LOL!
Well, today is Two Tips Tuesday and boy have I got some tips for you!
The first and best tip of all is to try an avoid the stains in the first place. Spray Scotchgard™ Fabric Protector on the clothing per the instructions on the can. The best time to do this is when the clothing is new. This spray will help repel stains.
If you are like me and it’s already too late for that. It’s sitting in your laundry basket staring back at you. Well, the next best thing is going to be a bar of soap that’s been around since the 1800’s. This soap is amazing!
Wet the clothes in the sink and scrub the bar all over the stains. It’s best to let it sit for a few minutes, then throw it in your washing machine and wash it as you normally would. Repeat as needed.
So where can I get this stuff? You should be able to find it in the laundry section of your grocery store. It is usually where all of the stain removers are. If you can’t find it in your local grocery store then you can always find it on Amazon.
Hopefully, this will give you a helping hand on laundry day.
